  The three laughed until they were interrupted by a woman’s voice.

  “Hello? Hello?”

  “Back here!” Sunny called out.

  A woman with auburn curls bounced to the patio. “Sorry, no one answered the front door.”

  “We’re closed until tomorrow. It’s changeover day. Is there something I can do for you?” Sunny asked.

  The woman crossed her legs. “I was just driving through looking for a place to stay and I really have to use the ladies’ room. May I?”

  Sunny and Maddie’s eyes met and they exploded in laughter.
